We offer whitewater raft rentals for the experienced paddler who would like to guide their own whitewater rafting trip. Cliff’s Raft Rentals offers the “Hassle Free Rafting Experience”. Our staff will bring your raft to the dam, greet you, assist you with your PFDs, helmets, and paddles, and we will collect all unused equipment. Equipment & Pricing
To ensure your safety Cliff’s Rafts Rentals reserves the right to adjust raft size or cancel any raft rental due to unexpected water levels and conditions . We do not rent rafts on the Kennebec River above 8000 cfs, on the Dead River above 10,000 cfs.
- 13′ self bailing raft: (7 people max) ……$250.00 per day
- 14' self bailing raft: (8 people max) ……$250.00 per day
- 16′ self bailing raft: (10 people max) ….$250.00 per day
- 14'-16' raft with rowing frame rental .... $300.00 per day
- Aire Inflatable Kayaks available for rental: $90.00 per day
- Wetsuit rentals available upon request for $25.00 for a full suit with booties.
- * Whitewater Raft Rentals include: raft drop off at the dam and pick up at the take out, paddles, PFDs, and helmets for all participants.
Reservations
- Reservations should be made in advance for all whitewater equipment rentals.
- Cancellations must be done at least 5 days prior to the trip date to receive a full refund.
- All raft renters must fill out a raft rental agreement form and file a trip registration form with IF&W. IF&W Non Commercial Raft Trip registration form.
- Equipment rental deposit is required on a major credit card for all whitewater inflatables, this is $300.00 (credit card authorization only) per boat.
- All rafts must be returned at the take out by 4:00pm unless prior arrangements have been made.
- Any rafts arriving after 5:00pm will be accessed a $75.00 per hour late fee.
Lost or damaged equipment charges:
PFD: $100.00
Helmet: $30.00
Paddle: $30.00
Raft repair is based on $65.00 per hour + materials.
Boats are loaded the day before the reservation. There is a $100.00 cancellation fee if you cancel within 24 hours of your reservation.
